My salutations to all visitors! Dance is my life and my soul. Because of this passion

I have been dedicating years of continuously studying since my childhood. My intention here is to share informations, ideas and thoughts about indian classical dance with all the people who are interested in discussing this subject.

My family have always supported me and my sister to follow Arts. So I started Bharathanatyam, Mohiniattam and Kuchipudi when I was 6 years-old. At 8 I decided to study Kathakali, the traditional dance-drama from Kerala, with the great guru Kalamandalam Krishna Prasad. I was trained in Mohiniattam by guru Kalamandalam Leelamma and I learned Kuchipudi with guru Mathan Kumar Vijayanthi Kashi.

My prime subject is Bharathanatyam following the kalaskshetra style. I have studied at R.L.V.College of Music and Institute of Fine Arts under Koothatukulam Radhamaniwith instruction. I have a MFA in Bharathanatyam which was completed in 2009. Actually I am doing a PhD programme in Bharatanatyam.

In 1999, I founded a dance school called Paitrikam School for Performing Arts, in Chengannur, State of Kerala, India. Since then I`ve been training many students from India an also from abroad. Anyone interested is invited to come and visit us!

Namaste
